Kenneth Taggart

Kenneth Taggart has been a constant figure at Meadowlarke Stables for over 13 years. Riding first in Ireland and starting at Meadowlarke Stables riding camp when he was just 10 years old, he continued to ride at Meadowlarke Stables until he went off to college.

Kenneth part-boarded 'Theo' before buying his first horse 'Gold Spin' and showed him on the Trillium Circuit for a year. With 'Gold Spin', Kenneth had many accomplishments, including finishing 9th in the 'A' Equitation Division in the Trillium Championships at Palgrave, Ontario. Later on, Kenneth competed in the Trillium Circuit, Jumper Divisions with his new horse Sebastian prior to attending college.

Kenneth has been an instructor at Meadowlarke Stables for over 4 years. "I find it enjoyable to be able to teach other people a great sport."

Stacey French

Stacy FrenchStacy FrenchStacey began riding when she was 13 years old, and has remained a part of the Meadowlarke family ever since. " I still remember my first day at Meadowlarke, it was the day Sunny was born. I felt so priviledged to meet him on his first day of life." Stacey has shown on the Challenge, Trillium and "A" Circuit over the years with horses such as Flashdance, Messina and Cavalcade. Though not currently showing, Stacey continues to attend the shows either as a coach, braider or supporter of her fellow barn mates. Stacey began teaching at the Meadowlarke Stables Summer Camp, and then went onto teaching weekly lessons. 14 years later she's still at it. Stacey is the coach for the Meadowlarke Stables Challenge Team. "I love taking the team to the horse shows, we are like one big family." 2009 is an exciting year for Stacey as she will also be taking a team of riders to compete in the Beginner Adult and Childrens Divison on the "A" Circuit. "I love coaching to be able to pass my passion and knowledge of the sport onto others. There is nothing more satisfying then watching a bond and trust build between horse and rider."

Alexandra Usajewicz

Alexandra UsajewiczAlexandra UsajewiczAlexandra has been riding for 12 years, beginning at the Meadowlarke Stables March Break Camp. Alex started in regular lessons shortly after. Though her passion for riding did start at age 7 when she was allowed to ride her aunt's horse. Alex began her carreer at Meadowlarke as a barn worker, and then accepted a position as an instructor just over a year ago. Since becoming a member of the Meadowlarke family, Alex has show-leased Andy, and received many ribbons on him in the schooling shows, including year end Reserve Champion in the Low Hunter Division in 2008. "I love Meadowlarke and couldn't see myself anywhere else. The horses there keep me going and the people are like a big second family. I love everything about it and now that I get to teach others what I've learned it makes it even better."
